call it my stupidity or idiocracy for i enjoyed certain moments in this film

Yes. I always watched movies directed by Upendra with excitement. In "A" the first fifteen minutes were awesome. The same with all his movies. Then he misses the thread. In the movie "upendra" he converts natures elements into heroines. His movies were always badly edited. Badly photographed. But his themes mostly novel. Like ram gopal varma he repeats himself with same technique---All his films let it be om or A or upendra or now this title less film there is this thread of heroine avoiding hero and hero making a rather stupid effort to woo her. But he always has something to clap for
This new movie features upendra as an NRI based Entrepreneur who adores India and never been to India.His India is what he learnt from a spirtual guru. He Marries a Indian Girl in India whom he thinks is very traditional but he soon learns shew has other motives. On her behest he sets out to get pension for a poor primary teacher honestly. He learns his India is only a mirage where as the real India differs a lot. During this course he learns more truths about Heroine. Interesting factor is he uses heroine as a metaphor for the country. What he has done forms the rest of the story.
yes the theme is worth. But as i already said the first fifteen minutes. Later he slips slips and slips. The same happened in this movie. Even then go watch it for it has something that gives you a childlike joy for some one dared to show whites working for us. No film maker ever ever dared.
Yes watch it for he was the one who dared to call Moghuls as invaders, foreigners and wealth looters.
I repeat its badly edited, photographed yet directed with heart at right place.
Finally:
When the hero tries to help the poor primary teacher, certain goons demolish the teachers house. A lot of crowd gathers by. The hero comes and watches helplessly. The teachers curses the hero for disturbing his routine. The hero's father arrives and asks him to come back to London for the so called ideals now cease to exist in India The hero replies in a loud voice
" Father! don't say a word about India. If this is London all should have shouted against the goons. But look at us. How peaceful we are. this is our legacy we inherited from past. standing with peace and patience. If this is London all may have got together and helped this man into his house. But look at us. We inherited the greatest Karma theory and we know this is the fate of this old man. Do you all these onlookers are free from work. They sacrificed their work and watching this thus negating work for happenings around. Dad you never told me that i can live this relaxed tensionleSs and spicy life in India. made my precious years dump in work and work . sorry i cannot come back. i love mother India"
